The checkout
Straightforward. Kit selection, shipping details, card details, confirm. HTTPS throughout with a visible padlock, processed by a named retailer of record rather than an anonymous processor.
Total charged matched the displayed total on all three orders. No surprise additions and no shipping appearing at the final step on the kits where it should be free.
The part I did not enjoy
After payment but before the confirmation page, there are upsell offers — additional bottles at a stated discount, presented as one-time offers with accept or decline buttons.
This is standard direct-response practice and it is not a scam. Declining works, the buttons function, and nothing is added without a click. But it is friction at exactly the moment you expect to be finished, and it is designed to catch people who have stopped paying attention.
I declined on all three orders without difficulty. It surprised me the first time and I would rather someone else knew in advance.
