AlkaBurn Refund Experience: I Actually Requested One
Plenty of reviews describe the guarantee. Very few describe using it.

How does the AlkaBurn refund process work?
AlkaBurn carries a 60-day money-back guarantee beginning on the date of purchase. After a minimum of 30 days of use, you email support with your order number and the team handles the request. There is no product return required and no RMA process. The guarantee applies only to orders placed through the official website.
Why I requested one
Forty-six days in I had lost about 900 grams, which is inside my own fluctuation range and not distinguishable from nothing.
I had done it reasonably properly — morning dose, baseline logged, three-bottle kit, waist measured weekly. My waist had gone from 96 to 95 cm, which is a single centimetre over six and a half weeks.
I also had not changed my eating much, and I want to be honest that this is probably most of the explanation. The site says clearly that it does not create a calorie deficit and I read that and half-ignored it.
Not every product works for every person, and in my case I am not sure I gave it a fair test.
The steps and timing
- Day 46: emailed support with my order number in the subject, one sentence stating I wanted a refund.
- Day 47: reply asking me to confirm order details and how long I had been taking it. Answered same day.
- Day 48: confirmation the refund was approved and processing.
- Day 52: refund confirmation email.
- Day 58: funds on my card.
Twelve days from first email to money back. Nobody argued, nobody tried to talk me out of it, and nobody offered me a discount instead — which I half expected and which I have had from other supplement companies.
What the friction actually is
Not obstruction. The friction is in the timing rules and it is worth understanding before ordering.
The sixty days start at purchase, not delivery. Mine shipped in four days so it barely mattered. For an international order taking three weeks, that is a meaningful chunk gone before you take a capsule.
Thirty days minimum use is enforced for efficacy complaints. That is reasonable given body composition timelines, but it means your real decision window is the gap between day 30 and day 60 minus shipping. Call it three and a half weeks.
You need your order number. Keep the confirmation email.
Compared with guarantees I have used elsewhere, this one is simpler in the ways that matter: no product return, no RMA number, no return shipping cost, no restocking fee. Several competitors require all four.

The exception worth knowing
The refund policy states that if you stopped because of side effects rather than lack of results, the thirty-day minimum does not apply.
I did not use that route, but I checked, and a reviewer on this site who stopped at day eighteen with stimulant intolerance did have her refund processed. That is the right policy and it is worth knowing if you find you do not tolerate it.
What I kept
The digital bonuses. Nobody asked for those back, which would be difficult in any case.
The 10-Day Metabolic Challenge is the one I actually use — post-meal walking, protein at breakfast, a step target. All free, all things I could have done without buying anything, and I learned them from a bonus attached to a product I returned.
There is a lesson in that which I am still slightly annoyed about.
Would I call it fair
Yes. A real guarantee, honoured without argument, with no return shipping and no administrative games.
The caveat for anyone comparing against a competitor: check which date their sixty days runs from. Sixty from delivery and sixty from purchase are not the same offer, and the difference is invisible unless you read for it.
Pros and cons
What worked
- Refund honoured in twelve days without argument or retention attempts
- No product return, no RMA, no return shipping cost
- Digital bonuses retained regardless
- Side-effect exception waives the thirty-day minimum
What did not
- Sixty days runs from purchase date, not delivery
- Thirty-day minimum narrows the real window to about three weeks
- Requires keeping the confirmation email for the order number
- I did not change my eating, which is likely most of why it did little
The verdict
The refund worked. Twelve days from request to money back, no argument, no product return, no RMA and no return shipping cost — which is simpler than several competitor guarantees. The friction is entirely in the timing: sixty days from purchase rather than delivery, with a thirty-day minimum use, making the real decision window closer to three and a half weeks. I should also say that I did not change my eating, and the site told me plainly that it would not work without that.
